Europa 2017: The Bronze Age as Pre-modern Globalisation

The Prehistoric Society Europa Conference 2017 The Bronze Age as Pre-modern Globalisation will be held at the University of Southampton from 23–24 June 2017. This year the conference celebrates the achievements of Professor Helle Vandkilde, University of Aarhus, in the field of European prehistory. Confirmed speakers for Saturday 24th include: Kristian Kristiansen, University of Gothenburg; Mads Holst, Moesgaard Museum; Marie Louise Stig Sørensen, University of Cambridge; Svend Hansen, DAI-Eurasien Abteilung Berlin; Catherine Frieman, Australian National University; Ben Roberts, University of Durham. A complete programme will be available soon.

Along with two full days of lectures, the conference will also include exhibitors and a poster display. Those interested in displaying a poster should send a 150 word abstract to Courtney Nimura at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) by Sunday 21 May 2017. Archaeopress will be awarding a £50 book voucher to the best poster at the conference.
