Friday 29 May 2015 will consist of lectures by young researchers and students.
Saturday 30 May 2015 will consist of three sessions of lectures on Aspects of Earliest Monumentality in a range of countries, and the Europa lecture given by Friederich Lüth, German Archaeological Institute. The event will conclude with a wine reception.
On Sunday 31 May there will be a fieldtrip to some of Ireland’s most iconic prehistoric sites in the Boyne Valley, including the Visitor centre, the passage grave complexes of Newgrange, Knowth and Dowth and the Dowth henge. The fieldtrip will depart from a central location in Dublin at 09:00 and will return to Dublin via the airport (c 17:30). People wishing to fly straight home should take their luggage with them on the bus. There will be an opportunity to buy lunch at the visitor centre.
