Europa 2016: Dynamics of Art, design and Vision in Iron Age Europe.

The Prehistoric Society Europa Conference 2016 Dynamics of Art, Design, and Vision in Iron Age Europe will be held at the University of Edinburgh and National Museums Scotland from 3–4 June 2016. This year the conference celebrates the achievements of Professor Peter Wells, University of Minnesota, in the field of European prehistory. Saturday speakers include: Colin Haselgrove (University of Leicester), Lotte Hedeager (University of Oslo), J.D. Hill (British Museum), Fraser Hunter (National Museums Scotland), Jody Joy (University of Cambridge), Simon Stoddart (University of Cambridge) and Laurent Olivier (National Archaeological Museum, Saint-Germain -en-Laye). A complete timetable with speakers for both days are included in the booking form.
Along with two full days of lectures, the conference will also include exhibitors, a poster display, and an opportunity to see the NMS exhibition Celts: art and identity on Sunday 5 June (these tickets are good for the entire Sunday from 10-5).
